This piece was handcrafted in the High Atlas of Morocco by the Amazigh women of the mountain. This types of work design called Zanafi. This rug has the distinguished black and white pattern common to Zanafi rugs. The black fabric is woven and knotted by hand with natural cotton and the white fabric is handmade with natural wool.
